Leo’s Gluten Free Butternut Squash Ravioli.  (The ravioli also comes with other fillings.)  Purchased at Mariano’s at the beginning of March, 2014.  Their site provides information on the products they offer, and the locations where you can buy them.You can read my review of the squash ravioli in my blog posted on March 6, 2014.

King Arthur‘s gluten free muffin mix.  This Vermont-based company has a large selection of gluten free mixes  and other products available on their website.  As I wrote in my recent blog post, I was introduced to the muffin mix by a friend.  It makes such a good product, I look forward to trying some of their other mixes soon.

Glutino is dedicated to creating gluten free products.  According to their website, Glutino “. . .  is part of a family of companies called Boulder Brands. With sister brands like Smart Balance®, Earth Balance®, Udi’s® Gluten Free and others on the horizon, all of these brands share a common vision.”

One of the items I enjoy is their Milk Chocolate Wafers.
My only complaint was that I got chocolate on my fingers when I ate them, so I now keep them in the refrigerator, which solves the problem.

 

Sam Mills Yellow Cheddar Mac & Cheese.  This was a new brand to me, but I had tried some other gluten-free macaroni products and I was looking for one that I liked better.  I liked the Sam Mills product.  The package has a more generous quantity, and the preparation is just like the old Kraft product.   The company has a number of other corn-based gluten-free products.  I’ll definitely buy this macaroni again.

Gluten Free Cafe products are part of the Hain Celestial Group, that  offers a number of gluten free products under several labels.  I recently had the Lemon Basil Chicken.  I didn’t care for the flavor.

Caesar’s has a line of gluten-free pasta products.  I have tried the vegetable lasagna in marinara sauce and was very happy with it.  They also have cannelloni, stuffed shells, ravioli, and several other gluten free selections.  I will be looking for their products again.  Their website lists a number of groceries that carry their product.  Jewel is not included in their website, but I have bought items at two of the Jewels in the Northwest suburban area.

Tate’s Bake Shop offers a selection of cookies and other baked goods, including some wonderful gluten free choices. The taste and texture are both excellent. The best gluten free cookies I’ve tried.  I found them at Heinen’s in Barrington, and they can also be ordered from the company website or on Amazon. Gift packages are available.
